INTRODUCTION
Why is it that women love perfume as much as men
love cars?
There are some researchers who believe that a woman’s
reason for loving perfume is becauseof the pheromones
their bodies produce. Often,certain scents or perfumes
trigger the increase ofhow much pheromone a woman’s
body will produce.
While a perfume will help in increasing the production of
a woman’s pheromone levels, they are also liked by
women because of the attention they get from a member
of the opposite sex or even from another woman.
In studies carried out, nearly 80% of all women
will make a perfume purchase at least once each
year.
Many women will tell you that the reason they
purchase a particular perfume for themselves is
that it makes them smell great and they seem to
feel better about themselves.
It also makes them feel a little bit more feminine.
Not only does smelling great make a woman feel good
about herself, but it will make her feel attractive
also.
In this book, we will be looking at ways of how to
make your own perfume so that you can produce a
scent which is particular to you, and unlike any of

The History of Perfumery
People’s use of scents, aromas and fragrances has
been used for many centuries, and when and why
people started to prepare and use them seems lost
to us.
However, over the years, evidence has been
found through archeological findings, as well as
texts written by our ancestors, that has shown just
how aromas were being used.
In the very early civilizations, scented flowers and herbs
were used by people to worship the Gods, and when
burned, some of these plants would release strong aromas.
Such scented fires became part of many religious rituals.
In fact, you will find that many religions still use scented
fires today. Both the Assyrian’s and Egyptians used scented oils.
Because of this, the demand for the raw materials needed
to produce both fragrances and remedies led to the discovering
of new ways of extracting scents from the plants they used.
Such techniques as pressing, decoration, pulverization
and maceration were developed and mastered by both
the Assyrian’s and the Egyptians.
They even made attempts at trying to produce essential oils
by distillation. Slowly, the use of perfumes spread to Greece,
where not only were they used in religious ceremonies,
but also for personal purposes as well.
When the Romans saw what the Greeks were doing, they
began to use fragrances even more lavishly. There are
many manuscripts around describing the herbs which
they brought from all over the world to produce the
fragrances they used.

However, as the Roman Empire fell, so the use of
aromas for personal use began to decline. However,
during the Middle Ages, perfumes again were being
used only in churches in Europe for religious
ceremonies and to cover the stench caused by the
many diseases which abounded at this time.
Then when trade with the Orient was reestablished
at the beginning of the 13th Century, exotic flowers,
herbs and spices became more readily available around Europe.
Venice quickly became the center of the perfume trade.
It was not long before perfumery soon spread to other
European countries.
The perfume trade then developed even further, as those
returning from the crusades reintroduced perfume for personal use.
However by the late 18th Century, the synthetic
material fragrance was being produced, and this was
the beginning of perfumery in the modern age.
Thus with the introduction of synthetics, perfumes would
no longer be exclusively used by the rich and famous.
Also, because synthetics were now being used to produce
perfumes, they could now be made on a much larger scale,
although naturals were still also being used to help soften the
synthetics.
Today, natural products still remain a very important part of
the production of perfumes in modern formulations.
But today, more and more people are turning away from
the industrial techniques of producing perfume, and preferring
to make it themselves instead.
But for many people making their own
perfumes, not only is it easy to do, but it is also
a great source of pleasure and fun for them.

Every now and then, I feel the burning need to open on the topic of mindset.
In reading visitor feedback and talking to others, I see that some people just have the wrong focus when it comes to building up an online business.
And if you are doing this, you might be making it an uphill fight for yourself. clock_03 Here is a direct quote from my recent reader survey. This was in answer to which single question would you ask me directly if you could. This person said:

How many hours did it take for your tech site to earn revenue. I know it takes time (i.e. days), but how much high-focused work did you put in before you began seeing money (profit)? I’m going to be completely honest. This question is the wrong one.
There seems to be an idea out there that time is directly proportional to money. If you want to make more money, the only answer is to put in more time. And that in order to start making money, it is a matter of executing certain steps, waiting for a certain amount of time, then money starts to flow. My wife also busts my balls about this.
I have tried to get her interested in internet business. I try to explain to her the sheer potential of it. But, it remains fruitless. She cannot seem to get out of the template of “time for money”. She asks me how long it will take before she starts making money? She tells me she doesn’t want to have to work 60 hours per week. She tells me that the only reason I am successful is because I bust ass.
Perhaps I am just a contrarian, but I see this as a result of an employee mindset. An employee is used to just showing up for work, serving their time, then going home. The paycheck arrives on schedule. And you might even get health insurance and a 401K while you’re at it. All is well.
Outside of being an employee, though, the world doesn’t work like that. There is a security blanket to being an employee. Personally, I think it is a make-believe security blanket, but mentally it is there. But, when you go into business for yourself, there aren’t any guarantees.
I have gotten successful on the Internet, but it doesn’t mean I followed a template nor served my time. The way I developed is not necessarily the way others do. It also doesn’t mean I did everything right. There are several people I can point to out there who make more money than I do in this business and yet have been at it for less time than I. So, it isn’t a matter of how many days I worked Or years.
It is a matter of working smart. I love my wife dearly, but the unfortunate fact is that she has the mindset of most people. She wants guarantees. She wants to know that if she starts a business, that she can follow certain steps, serve her time, and KNOW that money will begin to arrive.
And she wants to know exactly how much money it will be. The cold reality is this: That doesn’t exist! Well, it does. Its called being an employee and punching your time card in the morning. With the great rewards and potential money of an internet business also comes the risks of failure.

I have failed more times than I’ve succeeded. I have made strategic moves that I look back on now as stupid. I now know things that could have saved me a lot of time if I was doing it earlier. That’s part of developing as an entrepreneur. So, to answer the primary question:
The answer depends on you. There is no checklist for success. People like myself who have found some success can help, but we cannot guarantee anything. My advice would be to think about working smarter, not longer. If you focus on action and not time served, you will find the results you’re looking for.

Fetch some paraffin oil of about 1 liter and also pour this into the same pot.
With your petroleum jelly and paraffin oil in the pot, drop the pot down and allow it for about ten minutes.
You can now add your perfume (any quantity you want) and allow your Vaseline to get a bit cold.
When the Vaseline is cold, get your containers and start filling the Vaseline into your containers.
You must ensure that all containers are on a leveled surface to prevent cracks.
After filling all the containers, then you can start fixing your labels if any. And your very own
Vaseline is ready.
