8 Risk Free and Easy Ways to Make Money Online

Making money online is easier than ever and gone are the days when only super affiliates and genius gurus could have the market on making a living from their home offices.  There are a lot of money making schemes out there though.  And I mean a LOT!  Seems like almost every Google ad these days under the “making money” keyword will be some sort of scam that costs you some hard earned cash.

You know the old saying, “It takes money to MAKE money.”  Well, that may be true in the stock market, but the internet market has changed everything and anyone can make some extra cash sitting in front of a computer.

This is by no means an exhaustive list nor a detailed one.  But maybe one of these ideas will get the ball rolling or spark an idea in your head to start making some money on the internet.
Here are 10 risk free ways to make money online.  And by risk free, I mean you don’t need money to get started.

1.  Start an Amazon A-store.

Amazon has made this very easy to do and it will not cost you a penny.  Simply visit http://astore.amazon.com/ to get started.  You can sell any amazon product you want.  Just pick a certain niche that you enjoy.  Amazon has millions of products so it should be pretty easy to find something you love.  The astore will be hosted on Amazon, but if you already have a website or want to buy a domain you can put an iframe on your page and insert the Amazon astore.  Add as much content as you can and start earning commissions on anything you sell through your store.

2.  Sell stock photography online.

I have been making money with my photography for quite some time now and I love selling pics on stock photography sites.  You up load your pictures and web deisgners and just about anyone who wants that picture can buy it for a buck or two.  Usually commissions are about 50%.  Pictures have to be decent quality but doing micro stock photography has taught me a lot about photography too.
The best micro stock photo place to get started in my opinion is Dreams time.  I have made the most money from my photos with them.  Also, Fotolia is good and has the most photos of all the sites.  But if you are just starting out and want a stock photo site that will accept almost any of your pictures check out Bigstockphoto.  That was my first micro stock photo site to join and I still make money on it.

3.  Do jobs on Elance

Elance is a great place for people who need work to find people who will pay them for their work.  If you know how to do any kind of web programming, web deisgn, write software or any other kind of “techy” stuff you can make a LOT of money on Elance.   People from all over the world are getting on there to hire someone to do some work for them, and it’s all online.  I personally hired a guy from Romania and another from India last week to do some programming for me.  Some have made over $100,000 on there.

4.  Do some freelance writing

Let your fingers do the working.  You don’t have to be a profeesional writer with a masters in English to make money as a writer.  Sure it may help, but people like me are looking for writers to help with some of the workload of writing.  There are many sites that pay you for making review posts on your blog as well.  But even in forums like digital point you can make an offer to write articles for people and you will get some good responses.  And the more you write the more famous you become as a writer and you can raise your rates.  Oh, and yuo can do some writing on Elance as well.

5.  Don’t forget about eBay. There are more ways than you think.

6.  Make money with your blog

I could list more ways to make money with your blog than we have time for in this post but let me give you just a few ideas.  You can start a blog with no money at all by using a free service like Blogger.  You can monetize your blog with Google’s adsense, Bidvertiser, affiliate links, text links, Charging people to put ads on your blog (if you get a decent amount of traffic), and many others.  But the main thing is to add regular content and add it like crazy.  That way you will build traffic and hence build some wealth.

7.  Make some Squidoo Lenses

I really love Squidoo.  It is a free service that allows you to set up a page (or lens as Squidoo calls it) and you can basically use it as a one page blog to write about anything you want.  Make it interesting and add all kinds of modules.  You get paid 50% of all revenue made with adsense Squidoo puts on there as well as the Amazong and Ebay modules you can put in there.  And it’s very easy to put those modules in the lenses.  Google loves Squidoo pages and you can get a ton of traffic and money from them.  Check out Squidoo Queen to learn how to make a ton of money with Squidoo and figure out how it works

8.  Make some how-to informational videos

Metacafe will pay you $5.00 for every 1,000 views on any video that you submit.  There is one guy on Metacafe that has made over $100,000 with metacafe.  If you submit some good quality videos that people will find useful they will tell their friends about it and link to the videos and give you a lot more views.  This is a great way to make money that most people don’t even know about.  There are all kinds of ways to drive traffic to your video including social bookmarking sites.
