Why is it that women love perfume as much as men
love cars?
There are some researchers who believe that a woman’s
reason for loving perfume is becauseof the pheromones
their bodies produce. Often,certain scents or perfumes

While a perfume will help in increasing the production of
a woman’s pheromone levels, they are also liked by
women because of the attention they get from a member

Many women will tell you that the reason they
purchase a particular perfume for themselves is
that it makes them smell great and they seem to
feel better about themselves.

about herself, but it will make her feel attractive
also.

The History of Perfumery
People’s use of scents, aromas and fragrances has
been used for many centuries, and when and why
people started to prepare and use them seems lost
to us.
However, over the years, evidence has been
found through archeological findings, as well as
texts written by our ancestors, that has shown just
how aromas were being used.
In the very early civilizations, scented flowers and herbs
were used by people to worship the Gods, and when
burned, some of these plants would release strong aromas.
Such scented fires became part of many religious rituals.
In fact, you will find that many religions still use scented
fires today. Both the Assyrian’s and Egyptians used scented oils.
Because of this, the demand for the raw materials needed
to produce both fragrances and remedies led to the discovering
of new ways of extracting scents from the plants they used.
Such techniques as pressing, decoration, pulverization
and maceration were developed and mastered by both
the Assyrian’s and the Egyptians.
They even made attempts at trying to produce essential oils
by distillation. Slowly, the use of perfumes spread to Greece,
where not only were they used in religious ceremonies,
but also for personal purposes as well.
When the Romans saw what the Greeks were doing, they
began to use fragrances even more lavishly. There are
many manuscripts around describing the herbs which
they brought from all over the world to produce the
fragrances they used.

However, as the Roman Empire fell, so the use of
aromas for personal use began to decline. However,
during the Middle Ages, perfumes again were being
used only in churches in Europe for religious
ceremonies and to cover the stench caused by the
many diseases which abounded at this time.
Then when trade with the Orient was reestablished
at the beginning of the 13th Century, exotic flowers,
herbs and spices became more readily available around Europe.
Venice quickly became the center of the perfume trade.
It was not long before perfumery soon spread to other
European countries.
The perfume trade then developed even further, as those
returning from the crusades reintroduced perfume for personal use.
However by the late 18th Century, the synthetic
material fragrance was being produced, and this was
the beginning of perfumery in the modern age.
Thus with the introduction of synthetics, perfumes would
no longer be exclusively used by the rich and famous.
Also, because synthetics were now being used to produce
perfumes, they could now be made on a much larger scale,
although naturals were still also being used to help soften the
synthetics.
Today, natural products still remain a very important part of
the production of perfumes in modern formulations.
But today, more and more people are turning away from
the industrial techniques of producing perfume, and preferring
to make it themselves instead.
But for many people making their own
perfumes, not only is it easy to do, but it is also
a great source of pleasure and fun for them.

Every now and then, I feel the burning need to open on the topic of mindset.
In reading visitor feedback and talking to others, I see that some people just have the wrong focus when it comes to building up an online business.
And if you are doing this, you might be making it an uphill fight for yourself. clock_03 Here is a direct quote from my recent reader survey. This was in answer to which single question would you ask me directly if you could. This person said:

How many hours did it take for your tech site to earn revenue. I know it takes time (i.e. days), but how much high-focused work did you put in before you began seeing money (profit)? I’m going to be completely honest. This question is the wrong one.
There seems to be an idea out there that time is directly proportional to money. If you want to make more money, the only answer is to put in more time. And that in order to start making money, it is a matter of executing certain steps, waiting for a certain amount of time, then money starts to flow. My wife also busts my balls about this.
I have tried to get her interested in internet business. I try to explain to her the sheer potential of it. But, it remains fruitless. She cannot seem to get out of the template of “time for money”. She asks me how long it will take before she starts making money? She tells me she doesn’t want to have to work 60 hours per week. She tells me that the only reason I am successful is because I bust ass.
Perhaps I am just a contrarian, but I see this as a result of an employee mindset. An employee is used to just showing up for work, serving their time, then going home. The paycheck arrives on schedule. And you might even get health insurance and a 401K while you’re at it. All is well.
Outside of being an employee, though, the world doesn’t work like that. There is a security blanket to being an employee. Personally, I think it is a make-believe security blanket, but mentally it is there. But, when you go into business for yourself, there aren’t any guarantees.
I have gotten successful on the Internet, but it doesn’t mean I followed a template nor served my time. The way I developed is not necessarily the way others do. It also doesn’t mean I did everything right. There are several people I can point to out there who make more money than I do in this business and yet have been at it for less time than I. So, it isn’t a matter of how many days I worked Or years.
It is a matter of working smart. I love my wife dearly, but the unfortunate fact is that she has the mindset of most people. She wants guarantees. She wants to know that if she starts a business, that she can follow certain steps, serve her time, and KNOW that money will begin to arrive.
And she wants to know exactly how much money it will be. The cold reality is this: That doesn’t exist! Well, it does. Its called being an employee and punching your time card in the morning. With the great rewards and potential money of an internet business also comes the risks of failure.

I have failed more times than I’ve succeeded. I have made strategic moves that I look back on now as stupid. I now know things that could have saved me a lot of time if I was doing it earlier. That’s part of developing as an entrepreneur. So, to answer the primary question:
The answer depends on you. There is no checklist for success. People like myself who have found some success can help, but we cannot guarantee anything. My advice would be to think about working smarter, not longer. If you focus on action and not time served, you will find the results you’re looking for.

This seems to be one of the biggest mysteries or maybe things that folk struggle with…“Pinging” What is it? Do I need it? Some may even think it is a disease, well it’s not and it’s nothing to get hung up about. You just “do it” as Nike would say and you don’t always need to know why or how, just get it done. Pinging your website is very important and you need to make sure it is done.
So what is it? Here is the best explanation to Pinging Your Website: Pinging is a technology when the pinging process is run your blog is quickly indexed by search engines as well as bringing traffic from many other sources. What this Plug-in does is allow you to get the pinging done automatically every time you do a new blog post or create a new site.
As long as you have enabled the plug-in and set it up as I show it will work away for you. The reason you want to use this plug-in is because if you don’t your site could be being pinged often and that could get you banned.

How To Process Credit Cards Online
The subject of how to actually collect money online is one which often confuses people. In this guide, I'd like to hopefully simplify things.
Your Options You have many different options when it comes to how to process credit cards.
In my view, they tend to fall within 3 different categories:
1. Paypal. Paypal tends to fall within a category of its own. They are easy to deal with. Often, you end up using your own shopping cart system or, at the simplest level, you just put a Paypal button on your site (they provide the code). With Paypal, everything stays within their environment.
It is basically a kind of online bank. Money goes into your Paypal account. You then spend it via their debit card or by occassional withdrawals to your bank account.
2. Third-Party Processor. This type of company will provide a full end-to-end solution for processing orders. Essentially, they provide the online store and the order processing capabilities, via Paypal or credit card. Options in this space include Click bank or 2Checkout.
You usually get your money by them sending you a check or through direct deposit.
3. Your Own Merchant Account. With this option, you sign up for a merchant account in your own name. Once hooked up to a payment gateway and a shopping cart, the money charged is directly deposited to your bank account on a daily basis.
Which Way To Go? Paypal is easy to set up and work with. That said, some people out there are unfamiliar with Paypal and therefore don't trust it. This depends on your market. If you're dealing with customers who aren't really Internet-savvy, you may be scaring them with Paypal. Usually, I recommend Paypal be an option, but not the ONLY option.
If you're going to set up a membership site, Paypal can introduce difficulties. Many recurring payments are processed with Paypal. However, you have no real control of subscriptions, no ability to edit them. Not only that, Paypal has been known to proactively cancel subscriptions for internal reasons, leaving you and your customer wondering why the membership was mysteriously cancelled.
The third-party processors have their strengths. Click bank is popular primarily for access to their affiliates and for the automation. If you want a massive army of affiliates without the hassle of paying them manually, Click bank can be a real help.
They are more expensive, however, and they'll charge you roughly 8% of gross sales. The thing to keep in mind with 3rd-party processors is that you are essentially using THEIR merchant accounts. For that reason, they are touchy about anything that could potentially threaten their reputation. Generally, you won't have a problem with this unless you're doing something... weird. :-)
A direct merchant account is by FAR the most flexible way to go. You have total control of how you conduct your business (within reason, of course). You can use any shopping cart you want, any pricing you want.
In my opinion, any REAL business online will have their own merchant accounts and have the ability to process cards directly. How A Merchant Account Works A merchant account is essentially a line of credit for your business.
This is because each credit card charge is actually a short-term risk for the merchant account provider. For this reason, you will go through an underwriting process in order to get a merchant account. The process is very similar to getting a loan at the bank, but easier.
The merchant account will be hooked up to your bank account for the purposes of deposit. You will also hook up with a payment gateway. The gateway is basically the in-between system which actually verifies and charges the credit card.
Think of the payment gateway similarly to a card swipe terminal at any retail store. Your shopping cart is a different component. To understand this, let's equate it to a standard retail store at the mall...
• The store itself is equivalent to your shopping cart. It is where the offer is actually made.
• The cash register where the credit card is swiped is equivalent to your payment gateway.
• The merchant account is equivalent to the bank.
These 3 things are what is needed to process orders. The good news is that they are VERY easy to set up. Typically, when you get a merchant account, they will automatically set you up with a gateway.
