MY STEP MOTHER
My step mother maltreats me
She says I look like an animal
Sometimes she throws in my face, hot tea
She always tries to eat me like a cannibal
What her children cannot do
She commands me to finish it
My step mother never allows me to wear shoe
I always wear slippers because she says I am not fit
To do what her children do, so she gives me
The food that wouldn’t satisfy an ant
So I am always sad, as she beat me
And makes me to wash her daughters’ pant
Oh mother! Where are you?
I everyday regret over your death
Because I am dying without you
And no one can be like you on this earth
