VILLAGE LOVE
 
How lovely, how sweet
Is village loved?
A love that is natural
A love that is fresh
 
From the inner hearts
Of both the couples
Such in a village love
All the couples are faithful
 
And truthful to each other
They have no selfish interests
For their loved one
The female gives all that she has
 
For the love of her life
Whether her man is jobless
Or deprived in one form or the other
She does not bother
 
And the man too
Lives all his life for his dear
Working all day long under the sun
Sweating and wounding
 
Just to get enough to cater for his love
And when it comes to child bearing
They both co-operate
And give birth like fish
 
Oh! How I cherish village love
Just because of its innocence and purity.
